This book is just so... wow!
Almost immediatly I found my self drawn into Katie's story and ended up staying awake almost all night just so I could finish it. Katie has her life in California full of friends and a plan. She is cleaning out her father's office after his death when she finds clues of a past family that she has believed to be dead all these years.
I was so excited for Katie when she hopped in her car and headed for Tennessee. I also found myself getting very nervous for her as she began poking around to try to find the people that she wanted so desperately to meet. The first person she met was Kenmoore, the owner of the local store. The connection that immediately forms in that relationship becomes the glue that holds this entire story together. I just loved watching her treat her as a daughter, and continue to encourage her to tell her secret to the family that she is beginning to love.

Everything about this book just made me smile. I found myself cheering Katie on as she made decision after decision about where to go in her journey. I cried with her when memories of her past began to make sense. And I smiled so happily with the ending of this sweet story.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story about the love a family, and the love of God.
